Stained White Bath

Our client for the Stained White Bath project was specially referred by a previous client. The residence is a typical of homes built in the mid 80’s, and the bath space was enormous.

Problem Statement

A large space is actually a good thing. But if not used wisely, things could go badly. Just like for this client wherein most part of the master bathroom was occupied by a corner bathtub with a step up. As a result, they ended up with a little storage and a small shower which was really unbalanced.   Also, there was no door separating the toilet space from the rest of the room.

Our Recommendation

We created a plan highlighting the addition of drawer storage, the construction of a separate water closet since the area is huge and change the color palette. Removing walls and relocating the shower was also included.

Actions Taken

We made a 360 degree transformation of this project to achieve a well-balanced and functional bath space.   The wall was removed between the shower and existing tub area. We rotated the toilet and provided a door entering a water closet. The shower was relocated and now has a built in bench, new handheld shower, new tile work, frameless enclosure, and better lighting. The bathtub is now a large freestanding soaking bath.   As for the storage, we installed new vanity cabinet under the sinks and plenty of drawer storage. Lastly, the white and gray palette is fresh look and bright.
