Clean Condo Kitchen Makeover

This condominium kitchen was originally from 1983 when we gave it a total remodel with improvements to the functionality and an updated, clean look.

Actions Taken

We opened the space by taking out the tall appliance cabinet that housed the oven and microwave leaving a more spacious countertop area and provided better corner storage with a Lazy Susan.  The refrigerator was moved to the end of the kitchen near the dining room which added more countertop area to the left of the sink.  Also the laundry space was opened up by removing a header that dropped down from the ceiling allowing us to install a new light fixture and cabinetry above the washer and dryer.   A large single bowl sink replaced the previous double bowl sink which harvested space for more useful storage in other kitchen cabinets.  Also a new large drawer base was positioned on the blank wall across the room.  The frameless Lucerne cabinetry was ordered at a higher height than the original cabinets with crown to the ceiling.  The Frost white cabinet finish and Pietra Suede Silestone provide a nice clean palette striking a contrast with black knobs and accents on the light fixtures and the new stainless appliances.
